Cambourne Football Club is the largest youth football club in Cambourne Cambridgeshire. Cambourne F.C is the first Cambourne football club to earn the Charter Standard status within a year of being formed, and awarded by the mini league at the end of our first season, for the way we run our teams.
Cambourne F.C invests in our volunteers ensuring each team has a FA Level 1 coach, in line with our Charter Standard status. Many of our teams have as many as three coaches which enable us to focus on the players individual requirements.
Cambourne F.C also assists the local children with the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and BTEC sports.
Cambourne F.C look to give our players more unique opportunities, with the children already having played a tournament in the Cambridge United stadium and given expert training by the FA skill coaches.
The rapid rate of growth in Cambourne F.C has not only seen more players wanting to play for the club, but more local people wanting be part of the success. We now have four club secretaries who are working hard on the future and ensuring we maintain the high standards we set ourselves when we first formed.
Cambourne F.C has set up strong bonds with local businesses, who regularly invest in the club. This investment allows us to keep our subs down and enables the club to offer our players more opportunities using new equipment.
If your child would like to play for the club or you would like to be part of Cambourne F.C, then please contact us via email: info@cambournefc.com
Cambourne F.C are pleased to announce the formal link between Cambourne F.C and Cambourne Rovers men's. This formal link enables the young adults from the Colts league a direct route into men's football which was not available prior to today. Cambourne F.C are now able to take young children into football and guide them from the Mini league, to the Colts league and now into men's football. Cambourne Rovers men's have a history of being able to run a professional club and with both the 'A' team and reserves both looking at a top four spot this season, the success the teams have enjoyed in youth football will continue into men's.
Over the next few months the Committee's will work together to find the best ways of the clubs supporting each other and finding ways of offering the best opportunities within football which is affordable to all rather than the select few. Cambourne F.C already prides itself of having one of the lowest subs within the area, with kit being paid for by sponsorship and any additional extras being offered to the children to keep.
The link between the clubs will also ensure the new Sports facilities will be used far more smoothly between Cambourne F.C and Cambourne Rovers Men's as the football clubs will be working together rather than in competition.
We certainly look forward to working with Adrian and the rest of the Rovers Committee for many years to come.

Cambourne F.C were awarded the FA Charter Standard status within the first year of being formed (February 2010). This award by the Football Association recognises that the club Committee and members have proven they can meet the criteria required by the FA for this award. This includes both administration and holding the correct qualifications on an individual team basis. These include: all our coaches are least Level 1 qualified, holding First Aid certificates and having completed a Safeguarding Children workshop and passing a FA CRB check.
We are extremely pleased with this acheivement as not only are we are the first club in Cambourne to achieve this award within the first year of being formed, it is also recognition of the effort the entire Committee has put into the club.
Winning the award is great but it is down to the club to maintain the standards required to meet the criteria and not let them slip. Cambourne F.C
